When they’re not busy spending their time in Chinese internet cafes, it seems that some of the world’s leaders have been preoccupied with having their faces on novel ID cards in Guangzhou.
One stall in the city’s Tianhe District has recently made a name for itself after it was found selling stickers for travel and bank cards that looked like ID cards of various world leaders and celebrities.
Those on the billing include Barack Obama, Vladimir Putin, Osama Bin Laden, Kim Jong-un, and everyone’s favorite made-up animal/expletive euphemism, the Grass m&d Horse.
Each card features the person’s name, date of birth, address, gender and ethnicity.
Reportedly, the 1 RMB stickers have garnered a lot of interest from the locals and have been selling like hotcakes.
