They did a couple of Rights issue.

Fair value in my own porfolio is 48 cents.
Any price above 48 cents is way over valued.
I wont touch it with a 10 foot pole.

If the LIM Family sold their ENTIRE 9% stake at 72cts in May 2009 for $612m, you still think it's not grossly overvalued. NAV how much?

Today close at day's low of 95 cts.

Tomorrow my guess is below 90 cts.

Better to believe many aunties after losing money hanging around RWS waiting to sell themselves for $200 per poke.

Even if you want, there are no rooms or rooms too ex at $400 upwards. So how to poke? World Class Casino is it not?

BTW do not believe the hotel rooms are all filled. Only 3-4 floors of hotel rooms are completed.

Many Travel Agents in S'pore already kenna compensation claims from overseas guests.

Singapore’s future over the next five to 10 years is an "optimistic" one, said Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew, and the tourism sector will reflect that.

Speaking in Mandarin at Tanjong Pagar GRC’s Chinese New Year celebration dinner Thursday evening, Mr Lee said the two integrated resorts (IRs) have hired about 16,000 Singaporean workers, and tourist arrivals will shoot up.

With a laugh, Mr Lee said: "They want to gamble. I don’t understand why they want to lose. You surely will not win."

In reference to Resorts World Sentosa, which opened its casino on Sunday, Mr Lee said "the boss counted S$3.5 million" on the first day and S$3.7 million on the second day.

He added that the Singapore Turf Club had realised it would lose customers to the IRs and wanted to open a casino as well.

"No," said Mr Lee with another laugh, "two is enough".

Hence, in the next 10 years, Singapore will continue to grow, he said, with each sector, such as education and entertainment, seeing improvements.

He added that people used to say Singapore was a quiet place, but every newspaper now says it is very vibrant at night.

MANDATORY CONVERSION OF THE S$450,000,000 CONVERTIBLE BONDS DUE 2012
The Board of Directors of Genting Singapore PLC (“Company”) wishes to announce that the Company has today issued a mandatory conversion notice to the holders of the S$450,000,000 Convertible Bonds due 2012 (“Bonds”) for the mandatory conversion of the outstanding Bonds into fully paid-up ordinary shares of the Company (“Shares”) at the conversion price of S$0.95 (“Mandatory Conversion Notice”) in accordance with the terms and conditions of the Bonds. As at the close of business at 5 p.m. (Singapore time) on 25 January 2010, the outstanding Bonds amounted to S$321,100,000.
A copy of the Mandatory Conversion Notice dated 25 January 2010 given to the Conversion Agent of the Bonds for dissemination to the holders of the Bonds is attached.
