Whenever he appears in papers or on TV, many people find him very irritating , but still got many people find him cute and loving, this kind of mixed –feeling very difficult to talk about !
So what can you do to the media people ? They are paid to do jobs ! Then what can you do to the people who think LKY is saint ? Rice feeds so many kinds of people--the good, the bad , the ugly !
Yes, it sickening but the fact is Oppo parties simply cannot do anything ! But why focus on these nonsense that can get you into trouble right !
By all means, oppo parties should contest Tanjong pagar GRC, many voters would beg for this contest to take shape !
But Oppo parties contesting Tanjong Pagar GRC should go there with an open heart ! The bottomline is to win votes not to go personal with LKY ! You want to go personal, there are many free people to play with you, in the end, who suffers most ? Think about it ! You cannot win votes if you go personal with him !
Let LKY talk what he wants about the oppo parties at his ward ! let the media people write what they want !
For example---“Sinkapore will collapse within 5 years if Oppo parties take over as Govt”
Now how you reply back to the voters ?
Oppo parties need not get angry, if you get angry, you oredi lose half the battle, be calm and face the voters gentlemanly !
First, tell the voters, it is not nice to be called “oppo parties “! PAP was once a Oppo party before they becum ruling party, so voters should understand words are used becos there are meant to be used !
Tell the voters, Oppo parties would favor the country’s reserves , public investment arms to be independently audited before any GE but since there is no precedent , oppo parties would like to inform the voters that Good govt shares country information with the voters ! Voters have to think hard about it !
Oppo parties contesting TP GRC should never never argue with LKY becos you can never win , even you win, you can never win votes becos you becum just another actor or actress ! It is not that LKY is a great man but becos you are fighting the wrong object ! Your target is the voters not LKY !
Oppo parties can tell voters that it is perfectly ok to know sinkapore history but remind voters to come to earth to face reality !
Focus on the voters with good policies you can offer, keeping talking about policies and ignore LKY whatever he talks !
Refer to last messages, remind voters they have responsibilities at the polls and not seeing which party or which person win argument !
Please remember, you only reply to the voters . Don’t get entangled with LKY before even the GE hustings start !
Think about it, GE is not about LKY , it is about the voters---tell the voters !
LKY is oredi very old , he may be so-called very powerful among the PAP people, but how long more he can last, think about it, it is not worthwhile to focus on him during GE, you will not win votes ! You will waste time and effort you plan for the past 5 years ! Let the divine take care of him .
