As an ice cream lover and a loyal Gelare fan, I am dismayed that the company is not being honest in its marketing.

I always assumed that Gelare is free of artificial flavours, colours and preservatives. (See the 1st screenshot which confirms this)

When I inspected their ingredient list on their website yesterday, I found use of the artificial flavour Vanillin in many of their products. Furthermore, in its Green Tea and Brandied Cherry Explosion, artificial colours such as Red Dye #40 and Blue Dye #1 are added.

While I believe these additives are generally safe for consumption (apart from the ADHD controversy in the EU), Gelare should not mislead the paying public into thinking that its ice cream is free from artificial colours and flavours and still have the audacity to charge a premium for it.

Looks like Gelare is misleading. Why don't you write to them to have the misleading FAQ portions removed?

If they refused, bring this up to CASE?
