A friend told me that inside sources have leaked that actually GCT is in revolt against PAP and behind the TR smear campaigns against PAP.

How ridiculous? This friend needs to check in IMH to have his brains checked. GCT is multi-millionnaire and old. What the hell he does for against the his very benefactors and entrustees all his life?

This very friend has started this GCT faction rumour since GE 2006. He's in a high state of deluded wishing thinking that there's a PAP civil war going on. It may come when LKY goes but certainly there's be no GCT faction. He had plenty more of power and chance to do it earlier, why wait until twilight and for nothing much more to gain risk 晚节不保的下场。

New MPs to “take the fall” for PAP

Three first-term MPs in Marine Parade GRC have been asked by their team leader, Senior Minister Goh Chok Tong, to prepare for the possibility of standing in a single-seat constituency at the coming GE.

They are Mr Seah Kian Peng (Braddell Heights), Mr Lim Biow Chuan (Mountbatten) and Dr Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim (Kaki Bukit).

Critics of the PAP regime are of the opinion that the Marine Parade GRC will be redrawn into a few single-member constituency (SMC) to cut PAP’s losses in the coming GE.

Based on “ground and online sentiments”, the opposition stands a good chance of winning one or two GRCs at the coming GE which will mean losing 10 seats in one go. However, if they are redrawn as single seats, the PAP may still keep more than half of them.

Since the PAP is unwilling to risk losing unpopular “heavy weight” MPs like Dr Vivian, Dr Yacoob or Wong Kan Seng in a SMC fight, these new MPs would have to “take the fall” for them.

It will be interesting to see these new MPs proving their worth by winning a seat on their own merit instead of “piggybacking” on party heavy weights through the GRC system which has arose widespread unhappiness among Singaporeans.

If PM Lee were to keep to his earlier promise, voters can expect to see twelve single-member constituency up for grabs at the coming GE.

I agree with you but you misunderstood me. My agenda, if it's to be called that, is to quell any opposition delusion that GCT is leading a PAP break-up and it's a good chance to score in the fracas. Stop hallucinating and start planning how to fight the election realistically, on solid grounds.

Dr Joseph Ong is working for Healthway Medical, also a listed coy in SG.

Maybe GCT's son & Ong can get together and form a new Speculations Medical, a clinic chain specializing in serving clients who love to speculate.
