the area ard chinatown have always been gay haven since 20 yrs ago...from philip street to club street to the streets of chinatown to tg pagar and neil road...no idea why ...maybe it's coz the area is central yet suburban..as in it's not crowded like orchard and lotsa discreet backlanes for them to go to take a spaceship to Uranus...
