Garang Building Contractor Sued for Defamation

Hahaha.............monkey sees, monkey do! Hytech Builders sued a condo buyer when she emailed a complaint about her leaky unit. Instead of fixing the problem this garang ass company tried to use big muscle and sued her for defamation from High Court to Court of Appeal hiring big gun lawyers from Rajah & Tann! CJ Chan dismissed it with costs calling it a tempest in a teacup!!!!!!!!!
What could have happened if the buyer did not have the funds to fight this rich n powerful commercial giant? She just crumpled n pay thru her nose like the 2 chap who got screwed by
TT Durai who denied flying first class using NKF funds!!!
Justice comes with a big price tag & that is unjust!!!

I am perplexed why big law firm represented the company which clearly is in the wrong to sue on such filmsy excuse - till Court of Appeal! The big businesses are increasingly trigger-happy. Monkey see, monkey do: Defamation Pays......... & pay well????

Wonder where is the developer in this case.

there is a one year liability be it common area or the unit itself. If the defects are filed within the same year, the developer is still responsible if the defects are not fixed after the liable period.
i think the buyer may have critisized the workmanship like hell till the main contractor (hytech) tak boleh tahan.

If the case is against the Monkey familee, justice would be the victim.
