Gambler’s heart attack ploy fails to fool cops
KOTA KINABALU: A man feigned a heart attack during a police raid at a gambling den – but his gambit did not pay off.
The police did not play into his hands. Instead, they sent him to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital where he was given a clean bill of health – and promptly arrested.
The man was among 20 people including a woman who were arrested by Kepayan state police officers at about 11.30pm on Sunday.
Sabah Police Commissioner Datuk Hamza Taib said yesterday that police arrested 20 people, including two lookouts at the ground floor of the apartment.
