We would like to inform Mr Ang that for a full withdrawal of funds from the ez-link purse of the co-brand card, as clearly stated in the issuing bank's terms and conditions, it is compulsory for the co-brand card to be surrendered or retained for security reasons.
Therefore, all EZ-Link co-brand debit or credit cards must be retained or cut up in the presence of the owner upon its refund at the SMRT passenger service centre.
If the co-brand card is not corrupted or linked to the EZ-Reload auto top-up facility, the remaining value in the ez-link purse will be refunded to the cardholder in cash.
If the co-brand card is linked to the EZ-Reload auto top-up facility, a refund of the remaining value in the ez-link purse will be credited to the cardholder's credit card account.
