A man, who was caught taking photos of men urinating at Zouk's toilets, was bashed up by one of his 'victims' when he tried to make his escape, said STOMPer D. However, police did not detain him and instead allowed him to go after deleting the photographs, added the STOMPer.

D describes the incident in an email (Mar 27):

"Pervert takes pictures of men in gents and he got bashed up badly.

"The man was caught red-handed, taking pictures of men urinating at Zouk's various male toilets.

"When he got caught and was referred to Zouk's bouncer, he refused to hand over his handphone in a clarification.

"The senior bouncer claimed that they have no authority to check his handphone hence they referred him to the police.

"However, while waiting for the arrival of the police, the man made his escape without being noticed, but eventually one of his 'victims' caught up with him.

"In his distress, he tried to attack the 'victim' but in return was bashed up badly.

"When police arrived, they questioned the man and found out up to a 100 pictures of men urinating stored in his handphone.

"However, despite sufficient evidence, the police are still unable to bring him back to the station for questioning.

"Instead, they gave him a stern warning and had him delete all the pictures.

Understand from my Siheng's student who is a bouncer there that the mata was instructed to bring both the pervert and the guy who assaulted him back for further investigations... the assailant was begging the mata not to bring him back coz I think he realised he gonna be charge for assaulting the pervert.... it was the victims themselves who asked the pervert to delete the photos and close the case......
