<!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--><!-- more than 4 paragraphs -->WE REFER to Mr Teo Ai Hwa's letter on Aug 26, 'An unofficial graveyard for bicycles?'.
We thank him for the feedback. Acting on feedback in July from a member of the public, our cleaners removed some 30 derelict bicycles parked along Toh Guan Road East. The remaining bicycles were not removed as they appeared functional.
Our subsequent checks confirmed that they belonged to workers residing or working in the area. Recently, as a follow-up, our cleaners removed another five derelict bicycles from the area.
Any person with further feedback on the matter may contact our 24-hour NEA Call Centre on 1-800-225-6632.
