Foreign workers dormitory just like typical HDB estate
STOMPer eagle eye says this dormitory for foreign workers is just like or even better than a typical HDB estate.
In an email to STOMP yesterday (Sept 3), the STOMPer says:
“These pictures were taken at Toh Guan Road East. From a distance, these blocks of flats look like a typical HDB estate. However unlike the HDB estates, this housing estate for foreign workers has a fence and an ‘IN’ gate and an ‘OUT’ gate.
“Although all the residents here are foreign workers, they have proudly displayed our national flag to celebrate national day. You can see laundry hung out to dry on every floor.
“At the bottom left hand corner you can see a surveillance camera to spy on trespassers and intruders. The security here is better than what you have in the HDB estate.”
