STOMPer pronewbie says substandard bus driving is on the rise in Singapore, and thinks commuters should not have to put up with bad travelling experiences.

He says:

"Bus driving standards nowadays are getting abused.

"Is it because of the employment of cheaper workers?

"The bus drivers slam the brakes and accelerator like nobody's business.

"None of them are gentle with the brakes.

"I had a bad experience with SBS 7309R today at 6.45pm.

"The moving off and brakings were abused, jerking like nobody's business.

"Where did they find those kind of drivers.

"As long as passed means can drive?

"We pay for the best and we expect the best.

"This is intolerable for the kind of service we are paying.

The STOMPer says sometimes the aircon in SMRT buses do not work as well.

He says:

"And it happens during peak hours as well, everyone sweating like mad."
