FT vs Local

we all need to wake up and see the reality. Same thing happened in USA when FT's came and displaced the whole environment ....the term they call free market economy. The issues goverments do not see is cheap labor infact spoils the local economy by creating unemployment etc. Just think if China and India were growing at 10 perecent why would all these guys want to come here? Because Singapore they get better pay and standards.

In my experience most of the well paying jobs taken by FT's are because of the contacts expats have ie Indian employing Indian...so on....

This is the NEW reality and we need to all face it. GOVT's are helpless when it comes to private sector and they will not do anything....

I feel we all in Singapore are well qualified and can get employment anywhere in the world...we just need to try. I do hope the people and and goverment learns from the mistakes in US.

Cheap labor does not meen companies are doing better or going to do better. The overhead remains heavy, the customer service drops, quality drops....

It is a very complex issue and since the companies are chasing bottom line Q by Q there are very few forward looking CEO's in the industry today.

why don't u go and work in US or any other country as FT.. do you know many qualified Singaporeans are going overseas each year in search of greener pastures..

please don't talk cock! nobody love to leave their own country, u think those trashes like to come here, reason is simple~~$$$. they can't get $$$ or better $$$ from their homeland and so they r here. we r human being, not live stock, suka suka just shifted here and there. of course with the evil government who run this country like a cheap brothel made us souless here. time for the people to wake up, from sinkies to a true blue singaporean, get back to the old good singaporean who r honest, hardworking, harmony, united etc.
