in Australia, FT from China also went back saying Australia is boring and the white are lazy and angry people. Australians has lack behind in owning newer technology products than the Asians, and there are plenty of restrictions (new legislations and laws) that discourage entreprenurships and businesses. You have to buy all types of insurances before you start a new business such as Public liability ins, workman comp, OH &S, white card, blue card, green card and all sorts of shits thrown at you.

How did you go about it?

first open a saving acccount with a big bank there.
put in a sum of as FD.

do not buy the apartment with cash even if u can afford all.
reasons: to avoid been cheat.
up front pay as little as possible.
anyway borrow all money to buy apartment by installment and talk to the bank to lend u the money, cos u have FD as guranteen.
like that reduce the risk of been cheat, unless the bank cheat u la.
after two year, talk to the bank to pay up all in full.
oh! anyway i do not know which devolper can be trust. only buy apartment that is already fully build.

no not trust anyone in china. double check ad double check. no need to hurry
