Black bomb inscriptions were discovered on Monday 6 May on 82 graves in the cemetery of Tourtoirac. The gendarmerie conducted surveys in the evening. Since the beginning of the year, a series of ordeals and a cemetery have already been tagged in this sector.

"It's a crazy guy who does that," despairs Nanou, pushing the cemetery gate on the heights away from the town of Tourtoirac. On Monday, May 6, in the afternoon, a craftsman who came to repair the gate discovered tags on 82 graves in the large cemetery of the village, according to information from France Bleu Périgord.
82 degraded tombs
Dozens of graves have been covered with black-painting bomb inscriptions: "Allah", "coals", "I hate you", as well as tags referring to political figures or facts. Tags announce dates of death of Jean-Luc Mélenchon, Marine Le Pen or Jordan Bardella, and Pascal Praud, others refer to Mila or "revengeance for Cherbourg".Tags had already been observed since December in the surrounding villages, on the calvaries of Saint-Pantaly-d'Excideuil, Cherveix-Cubas, Saint-Mesmin and Coulaures. A first cemetery had been tagged in Clermont d'Excideuil in early March. "It's the same as in other villages, especially in Clermont," the mayor of Tourtoirac thinks.

"Don't lend himself to the game" of the lily
For the past two months, no tags had been recorded. The series therefore seems to be continuing. Investigators and technicians of the criminal identification of the gendarmerie spent the afternoon on the spot. An investigation is already being opened following previous deteriorations, but the public prosecutor's office, requested in the evening, did not yet wish to say whether it was making the connection with the new tags discovered on Monday.Mayor Dominique Durand calls for "not to play the game" of the one or those who are taggering: "What message are they trying to get across? Is that provocation? We must remain pragmatic and wait for the gendarmes to do their job."
