Monday 22, a man threatened employees of a supermarket in Marseille, saying he wanted to “ slit the throats of all the unconverted ”.
A robber entered a supermarket on Monday January 22 at the end of the day. This man entered the Géant Casino store in the La Valentine district, in the 11th arrondissement of Marseille. According to information from Activists , from a police source, then he exhibited a knife which he put to the throat an employee, demanding that the contents of the cash box be handed over to him. The amount was EUR 200.
Frightened, the victim was unable to return to the money. A second employee was then threatened with the knife. The security guard finally managed to subdue and disarm the attacker, who shouted “Allah Akbar” . Heh also threatened to “slaughter all the unconverted” . The police arrested and took this 31-year-old man into custody. He is homeless and known to the Criminal Record Processing. The knife was seized. No injuries reported.
