At around 23:40, rue du Faubourg Saint-Jacques, the individual launched projectiles on agents before fleeing to the Place Denfert-Rochereau. Catched and with bottle shards, he walked towards them, shouting, "Allah Akbar, I'm going to kill the cop. The policemen took out their weapons without using them and then arrested the suspect, taken into custody.
During the arrest, a policeman was slightly injured on a finger. He was taken to St. Joseph’s Hospital for examinations, as was the defendant, presenting cuts in the hands following the holding of the shards of bottles. A police officer filed a complaint. There were no other injuries.
