Tuesday afternoon, while a young 11-year-old schoolboy was returning from Iris de Villeurbanne school, a school friend took a dislike to him.
According to Le Progrès , the scene took place around 3:40 p.m. on rue du 8 mai 1945. While the young boy was walking towards his home, he saw two young girls from his college, also aged 11, heading towards him .
One of the two girls would then have directly been verbally aggressive with the boy.
The boy then allegedly avoided the girl. The latter would have immediately taken out a pair of scissors from her pocket, pointing them at him, threatening him, and then hitting his head with them.
It was at this moment that the second young girl intervened by interposing herself between the two schoolboys. Once the boy was on the sidewalk opposite, the young girl continued by declaring "dirty Christian! You are all the same, dirty dog! Is it good to be a dog? Tomorrow I will meet you at school" .
Class representative, the boy quickly warned his teaching staff during the class council. The college subsequently notified the parents.
On Wednesday morning, the young man's father went to file a complaint with his son at the Villeurbanne police station for "violence and public insult due to race, religion or origin".
The young girl was summoned Wednesday morning by the school and confessed to the facts concerning this young boy. She also allegedly attacked two other of her classmates, so she risks being excluded from college.
