A professor from the Catholic school group Saint-Louis Crest (Drôme) is the subject of an investigation for "attempting to bribe a minor" for having asked his students to pose naked "against the war in Palestine", reports Libération on Tuesday 21 May.

Martin Gardey de Soos, a substitute teacher in literature, "would have made the proposal to ask nude against the war in Palestine and to post the photo on the networks", told our colleagues the prosecutor of the Republic of Valencia, Laurent de Caigny. The prosecutor's office was referred to the staff member. Martin Gardey of Soos had already been dismissed on 17 May following several complaints from parents.

Catholic, comedian and pacifist

Contacted by Libération, Martin Gardey de Soos defined himself as a "Catholic, comedian and pacifist", and claimed to have wanted to "push into thinking about Pentecost".

Without denying the facts, he explained that he had "want to propose an action of solidarity with Palestine". His idea: "punish the indecenter barrier to show human fragility". Finally, he adds that in the face of his students' reactions, he finally gave up photographing them. He was dismissed, he claimed to have "appealed to the parents".
