Four People Shot at Times Square

NEW YORK —Four people were shot while over 50 people were arrested sometime between 12:00 a.m. and 2:00 a.m. in Midtown Manhattan early Monday morning. All four of the people who were shot have been taken to the hospital and are in stable condition.
The violence erupted after the end of the New York Auto Show, writes the Associated Press. NYPD spokesperson Paul Browne said that there have been problems with gangs in the past after the auto show. Browne added that the police department increased the amount of officers to take precautions for this year. He added that the persons may or may not be affiliated with local gangs.
Three men and one woman were arrested in connection to the shootings. However, the gunmen haven't been positively identified yet, said the police department.
