[Forum] - If a Sammyboy forum member shows suicidal tendencies then goes silent, will you be genuinely concerned for him/her?

On HWZ EDMW, someone noticed that a forum member who had indicated suicidal tendencies in his posts has gone silent for some time now, and made a thread on this. Condolences of "RIP" quickly follows from a multitude of other members. If a Sammyboy forum member shows similar suicidal tendencies in his/her posts then goes silent ever since, will you be genuinely concerned for him/her?

There is never ever a good reason to kill oneself, unless one has a terminal illness (verified by two or more doctors). Everything else can be resolved eventually, to varying degrees.

That HWZ EDMW dumbfuck, hope he is still alive. To kill oneself because of a failed relationship is the ultimate dumbest thing one can do.

I remember there was someone who made a thread in Delphi around 07. The fella said he was going to jump on MRT tracks due to some hardships and many posters encouraged to do it. The thread went on for a few days until there was really a suicide by MRT at jurong east ..

some nicks questioned the possibility but most of them brushed it off as another fella talking cock online. It was quite believable since the fella was quite a good writer. And there were many funny guys back then like PAPbest and Clinton888 who could easily be scriptwriters.

The suicide guy never posted again and no one brought him up since.. Disturbing as fuck

I worry about him too which is why I regularly check to see when he last logged on and the result so far has been relief beyond words.

However there is always a possibility that he has handed his account over to a friend or family member.

And if he does eventually go dark what can I do?

I suggest that those who know him personally contact him to make sure he is ok.
