SINGAPORE — A construction worker has been jailed six months for molesting a minor, stealing a mobile phone from a flat and illegally trespassing in another unit.
27-year-old Palanisami Mohankumar admitted to stealing a mobile phone from a unit in Yishun Street 22 in September 2012.
He also pleaded guilty to touching a 12-year-old girl’s thigh through a sliding window along the common corridor that was left ajar.
This incident happened in September last year.
A similar offence that took place in August last year was taken into consideration for sentencing purposes.
The accused also admitted to another charge of criminal trespass.
