Cuscaden Peak, Kajima put Woodleigh Mall up for sale for about S$800 million

FOR the third time in the past 12 months, Cuscaden Peak Investments group (including Paragon Real Estate Investment Trust) has put on the market its stake in a Singapore retail asset.

The Business Times understands that the company and Kajima Development are asking for about S$800 million for The Woodleigh Mall in Bidadari estate. The two partners hold equal stakes in the property.

The mall, spanning three levels (Basement 1, and levels one and two) opened last year. It is beside Woodleigh MRT station on the North-East Line.

Most neighbourhood malls are suffering
Not every mall is like Jurong Point

They won't suffer IF they price the shop rental correctly ...
Demand sky-high rate + percentage% commission of their shop gross sales
Those smaller shop owners are the real victim, really suffering under REITS

Bidadari is just coming up and this bugger want to sell off for 800 million.
Maybe he think that it's worth much better or more ? Testing market again to see his the market is going. Maybe he is waiting for some family office to buy into it.

Apparently the ones losing out are the pop and mom stall inside the mall. Those who win are the chain store.

If the rate is not good, then totally reject it.
