i not only boycotting all processed food but ALL medicinal products as well - hv done that eons ago .... hehehe
one of the common medicinal product among SPGs - the po chai pills (for diarrhea) contains high quantities of lead n mercury!
the product i did not boycott at least not for now - the china mei meis ..... LOL

Still cannot forget slimming pills which slipped through singapore checks and killed a singaporean.
Now it is because of a baby in china which was killed, the chinese authorities have recalled these products and singapore is following.
If it was a singapore baby killed, the importer would be charged, the products recalled from shelves and we wait for a china baby to be killed.

in light of these unfortunate events, i'll strictly adhere to this measure: i'm avoiding all processed food products directly or indirectly produced by PRC China. let's help protect our family and loved ones, expose these unscrupulous diabolic beasts who holds no values and ethics within them 'cept to enrich themselves! expose them all!
if the PRC is involved in most, if not all, food processing companies, i'll go only for organic and natural produce only. processed food products like milk and biscuits or whatnot can kiss goodbye from my edible food list.
i value the health of my family and loved ones. i hope you folks do too. i'll eat only fish and poultry, fruits and vegetables from our neighboring countries, e.g. Malaysia, Thailand and Indonesia. meat and wine from Australia, New Zealand and the European countries :p

The system is almost broken in China, and there's massive corruption. Its just like lead toy problem in America last year, when Mattel imported toys that weren't supposed to be fully coated with lead paint.
In the end, it was blamed on corruption and the judicial system in China.

there are alternatives like stocking out yout fridge once a week with meats and vege or the best way eggs and vege to give you all the nutrients you need

My friends working in china also buy food FROM SINGAPORE and use it in China. They dare not eat the can food made there.
