MALAYSIA Nanban reported on a failed attempt to kidnap buxom Tamil screen beauty Namitha in Tiruchirapally (Tiruchy) on Tuesday.It was reported that Namitha had flown to Tiruchy in the morning to attend a function in Karur, about 330km from Chennai.At the airport, a man approached her and identified himself as the driver assigned to her by the organisers of the function.The actual driver, on seeing the actress getting into another car, alerted the organisers.What ensued was a pursuit involving 10 cars, which eventually cornered the impostor and forced him to stop.The bogus driver later told police he was an ardent fan of Namitha and had only wanted to get close to the actress.
