ALOR SETAR: Police have arrested five Form Three students for allegedly beating up a Form Two student at a school’s hostel in Lebuhraya Sultanah Bahiyah here two days ago.
Kota Setar Acting OCPD Supt Baharom Abu said police picked up the five at the school at 2.30pm yesterday.

The five were picked up after the victim’s father lodged a police report over the 6.55pm incident on Sunday.
Recalling the incident, Mohd Syazwan Johari, 14, said one of the five called out to him to go to his dormitory.
But he refused as he suspected something amiss.
He claimed that the boy then dragged him to a place where four others waited for him.
“I was punched and kicked for no apparent reason. “The beating lasted for several minutes,” he claimed.
“Some of my friends saw the incident but they were afraid to do anything.”
Mohd Syazwan said, when he was lying helpless on the floor, the group picked him up and dragged him to his bed.
“It was then that a metal rack hit my left knee. “I could not walk properly after that.
“A friend then informed a teacher the next day and I was taken to a nearby clinic,” he said at the Sultanah Bahiyah Hospital here yesterday.
