2 women arrested for online vice activities

SINGAPORE: Two women, aged 25, have been arrested for suspected involvement in online vice-related activities after police raided a unit located along Jalan Lokam.
Preliminary investigations revealed that illicit activities were advertised on Internet websites where potential customers could book its services.
Some transaction records and $1,000 cash were seized. Investigations are on-going.
Any person who knowingly lives wholly or in part on earnings of the prostitution of another person is liable to a fine of up to $10,000 or to imprisonment of up to five years, or both.
