SINGAPORE: A police inspector with Bedok Police Division was charged in court on Wednesday with bribery.
He had allegedly accepted S$5,000 from a suspect, through his friend, in return for being lenient in the investigation.
The inspector was, at that time, in charge of the Commercial Crime Squad.
