Fined $2,600 For being Naked in Own Home

But that was what Madam Kali Selvi and her 14-year-old daughter were exposed to on two different occasions earlier this year.

On May 15, the teenager was walking home when she saw, through the common corridor window, Chua Hock Hin, 56, sitting naked while having his meal at the dining table in his flat.

Two days later, Mdm Kali, 44, was exposed to the same spectacle at the flat at Block 802 in Woodlands Street 81. After hanging clothes along the common corridor at 10.30am on May 17, Mdm Kali was about to enter her flat when she saw Chua standing naked in his kitchen through the common corridor window. She subsequently made a police report.

Later in the day, at 7.15pm, Mdm Kali and her husband confronted Chua about his naked state.

Chua got agitated and took a pot of water from his flat and splashed it on Mdm Kali.

Yesterday, Chua was fined $2,600 by the District Court for being naked in a private place and using criminal force to annoy his neighbour. Ong Dai Lin

A TAXI driver was yesterday fined $2,600 for being naked in his own flat in clear view of his neighbours, as well as for splashing water on one of them when she confronted him.
On May 17, a 44-year-old neighbour was going into her flat in Block 802 Woodlands Street 81 when she spotted Chua Hock Hin, 56, through an open corridor window, and was shocked to see him standing naked in his kitchen.
When she and her husband confronted Chua later outside his flat, he splashed a pot of water at the woman. The police were called.
Two days earlier, another neighbour, a 14-year-old girl, was walking home when she looked through the open corridor window of Chua's flat and saw him sitting naked at the dining table and eating with his legs crossed.

Simple lah! since the district court fined the accused of being naked in a PRIVATE PLACE, then you can go naked in a PUBLIC PLACE, and quote the HONOURABLE JUDGE in the case number xxxxxx PPP vs Chua Hock Hin.
