Hongkanlanders is fucked. It will take them years to recover, if they do at all recover. Best is China just watch it rot and do nothing and the middle class wither into borderline poverty...;D

They leveled themselves. Can't speak English for fuck, so proud and boastful.

What happen in HK is good for mainland China. As people in China gets wealthier, demand for political reforms and democracy get stronger especially amongst the youth.

HK downfall from too much freedom serve as a negative show case for the mainland Chinese and quell this demand for greater political freedom.

Hong Kong provides an example for all Singaporeans if you have the wrong leadership.

If you treasure what you have achieved in your life so far as an individual and as a nation - peace, prosperity, harmony, transparency, and simply a roof under your head vote wisely in this coming election even though he may look strange but looks can be very deceiving

Sinkieland maybe, but Shanghai will never be a financial hub.

Why do you think the Chicoms launder their money through Hong Kong? Because it was given a special economic status by the USA that will never ever be given to any of the mainland cities.

Now Xi Jinping is trying to kill the golden goose while indulging in delusions of being Chairman Mao version 2.0. :roflmao:

Hong kong even without riots was getting to be a insignificant city in china as other cities grow and compete with it.
Same thing will happen to singapore. Everything is fluid.
Currently tax rates does not favour shanghai.
