"Investors who are not satisfied with the outcome of the financial institution's review of their complaints may refer their complaints to the Financial Industry Dispute Resolution Centre (FIDReC) for resolution. FIDReC is an independent body set up to provide investors with an affordable and impartial avenue to pursue claims against their financial institution."

is it really independent? or just the same as those so-called "independent" in the past?

believing it to be independent is the same as believing we have democracy here:D.

It's just like the CASE. It might be an independent body on the surface but it should be heavily influenced by the government.
