Yes, there are lots of Malaysians working here, but there are also a lot who really settle down here and treat Singapore as home. They have integrated into our society well and contributed too.

I always tell my Malaysians PR friends that if things are not right in Singapore, they can always go back to matland to settle back there.

The reply is always that theortically is correct, but in real life, most of them have been here for many years and their children grew up here, so is very very difficult to just leave like that.
