Trailer and container Drivers many of whom come from China (which has a system different to ours) have been involved in Accidents.
The strange thing is that our Licensing Section regularly FAIL singaporeans who although have been driving many many years with a Class 3 or Class4 licence when they go for upgrading to Class 4 or Class 5 licences...
Maybe CPIB should take a look at the Test and Licensing Centres to determin if "corruption" is taking place at such centres...
I have heard rumours that if you do not take "PAU" Courses you will inevitably FAIl several times...
I think CPIB should look into the workings of our Licensing Section....
Meanwhile for some strange reasons large companies like SMRT and Logistics Companies continue to hire so called Licensed Class4 and Class5 Drivers to drive these HEAVY DUTY vehicles in singapore...something is seriously amiss.
