Was led there because an article on the Internet mentioned that Canada is a "corporation".
Company Search
http://www.sec.gov/edgar/searchedgar/companysearch.html
Search for containing "Singapore", you get "SINGAPORE REBUPLIC OF". Stupid Americans can't spell republic correctly. There we have it, the Republic of Singapore is a corporation.
http://www.sec.gov/cgi-bin/browse-edgar?action=getcompany&CIK=0001034141&owner=exclude&count=40
Notice the business address of "54 LOMBARD STREET LONDON ENGLAND EC3T 3AH X0 00000"
Click on one of the two documents and you'll see "THERAPEUTIC ANTIBODIES". I do not know what is this THERAPEUTIC ANTIBODIES.
Can't remember which Google search term I used, however I arrived at this page:
http://www.secinfo.com/dsVsf.7bd6.htm
Go to page 7 and see the address of the beneficial owners.
Monetary Authority of Singapore............................. 1,241,126 5.3
54 Lombard Street
London
EC3T 3AH

Anyone here who's able to understand all the filings? MAS has a beneficial ownership in THERAPEUTIC ANTIBODIES, who in turn has a beneficial ownership in the Republic of Singapore? Am I right, wrong, dunno?
why do MAS and the Republic of Singapore have business addresses in the City of London? On the spot where Barclays used to be.
Since the PAP is in Singapore, who the fuck is in the London address running the corporation?
As a comparison, the SEC filing for Development Bank of Singapore (DBS) states the business address as "6 Shenton", not in another country! Why is the Republic of Singapore in another country then?
