Singapore single largest investor in first 5 months

The United States and the United Kingdom remained the second and the third largest investor countries in Pakistan.
According to an analysis of Finance Ministry on the inflow of foreign investment from July-Nov FY09, the financial businesses along with communications have been the major attraction for foreign investors in Pakistan, accounting for 27.7% and 24.2% respectively, followed by energy sector (oil & gas, petroleum refining and power) (23.5%), trade (4.4%) and personal services (3.0%).
