A WOMAN takes a terrifying tumble after her bid to negotiate a moving escalator from
her mobility scooter ends in disaster.
Pinned to the walkway as her motorised device flips on top of her, the stricken individual flails
wildly before help arrives.
While a member of staff frantically attempts to switch off the moving stairway, a fellow user of
the Boston subway system dashes to her aid -- tipping the chair over.
When the escalator is eventually halted the woman remains stuck on her side for twenty seconds.
But she is mercifully then freed, emerging apparently unscathed from her 50-second ordeal to
gingerly descend the staircase cradling a number of her belongings.
