The post below, which has already been retweeted over 10,000 times, gathered information from the Japanese internet about eyeball-licking in grade 6 elementary school children (usually aged around 12 years old), who say that it is part of normal dating practice among their peers. “From the beginning of this year, styes were practically epidemic in my class. At first the staff didn’t pay much attention to it, but when there were five kids or ten kids in a single class who all had eye patches, it really caught the attention of the adults. I’ve never done it, but the eyeballs are mucosal membranes, so I think that is a factor which means the eyeball could well be an erogenous zone. But to lick such a place…I think that the sense of corruption that comes from doing that probably also increases sexual tension.

The eyeball can be prone to bacterial conjunctivitis caused by a bacteria calledtrachoma, which if left untreated can damage eyesight irreversably. By the way, trachoma is the same bacteria as the bacteria that causes chlamidiya. If you have sexual contact with someone, including eyeball licking, without realising that you are infected with trachoma, there is the possibility that you could also be infected with chlamidiya. A friend of mine got infected with chlamidiya from someone with trachoma without knowing, and almost died from a ruptured fallopian tube during an ectopic pregnancy. It appears that young people today will engage in eyeball licking as though it’s completely normal, but I think that they’d be better off if they stopped.
