Has Singapore over taken many Asian countries to become the entertainment city in Asia? It appears to be heading down that track as its reposition itself with the pending opening of the integrated casino end of this year.
According to a netizen by the name of huahero1999 reviewed in Lianhe ZaoBao forum, extra-service massage parlours have been sprouting up all over Singapore from shopping centres, HDB housing estate to places where youth frequent such as Internet cafes, however, he did not expect these operators to be so bold as to setup shops next to the Singapore High Court at The Adelphi Shopping centre. Apparently more than 10 such parlours can be found in the centre.
“I could understand if they are located in Geylang but next to Singapore High Court is a bit too much” commented huehero1999. Geylang is Singapore famous red light district where prostitutes can be seen standing on the streets soliciting customers.
Long wait list
According to a reporter from LianHe Zaobao who visited the shopping centre, customer wanting a massage will need to be first registered with the parlour with their identity card information and the wait list is quite long and full. After some pleads, the reporter managed to get an appointment two hours later.
The reporter was lead into a closed room by the masseur for the massage. After a few minute of massage, the masseur started to ask whether the reporter would like extra service. Being rejected by the reporter, the masseur claimed that the $30 massage fee is for the boss and she don’t make any money if she can’t offer any extra service.
Regular clientele only
According to informer familiar with the setup, these parlours operate in The Aldephi on a very low profile basis to avoid unnecessary attention. The girls which work in the parlour do not solicit walk-by customers and do not wear sexy or prerogative clothing. They would normally were spaghetti stripe blouse with tight short and a jacket. Some of them would wear under-sized blouse so that their breasts are more pronounced. They would remove their jackets while giving the customer the massage and try to sexually arouse the customer for extra service.
Registration to monitor number of customers
Apparently the bosses for these parlours have many parlours and manage the daily taking by having the customers registered for the massage.
The reporter observed that business with the parlour is breeze with more than 9 customers within 4 hours from 11am to 3pm. Many of these parlours have attached bathrooms in the massage rooms to facilitate washing.
