I believe I found an excellent opportunity for PAPa to show proof that FTs are needed to create jobs for locals and put doubts to bed once and for all.
I was in Giant in Turf City after quite a while didn't go there as transport is not convenient. There used to be some local men/women around 50 years of age working as stackers, cashiers and manning the wet seafood areas. Now most are FTs, 99.99% (can't say 100% as not did not see all of them but all those I'd seen are from PRC) from PRC.
Same situation as in Seng Shiong.
I trust that with all these FTs, our local men and women who used to be working there are now working in much better condition, as well as many more locals had been hired since there is expected job creation.
Instead of motherhood statements, this, I? beleive is an excellent opportunity for PAPa to share the followings :
1. Where are those local men/women who used to be doing what these FTs are doing ?
2. How many more jobs were created by Giant and Seng Shiong and that these were filled by locals?
I believe these are very easy queries which the HR can easily provide answers to at the tip of her FT fingertips.
Once PAPa can provide satisfactory answers to the 2 simple questions regards these 2 companies that prove what they said as objective of mass importing FTs, I am very confident all locals will rally around them and will give them a landslide victory in coming election.
