Ex-trainer charged with graft

<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> A FORMER forklift trainer was charged in court on Wednesday with corruptly getting a $70 bribe from a man to help him pass a practical test for forklift drivers. Yeo Eng Teck, 47, was with Goldbell Leasing in November last year when he allegedly obtained the bribe from Mr Tan Chin Hong to help him pass the forklift drivers' training course test conducted by the company. The alleged offence took place in a toilet at the Jurong premises of Goldbell. If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $100,000 and/or a jail term of up to five years. He will appear in court again on Jan 6.
