A former sales executive of a goldsmith's shop was charged in court on Wednesday with misappropriating an assortment of gold totalling $41,637 and stealing from his employer.
Ho Yuen Kum, 59, was working at Tin Sing Goldsmiths at South Bridge Road when he allegedly committed criminal breach of trust between May 30 and July 4, 2010.
He also faces 39 charges of stealing gold pieces and miscellaneous items amounting to $18,960 between August 2009 and June 2010.
Ho, whose police bail was extended, will return to court on March 28.
