Ex-pixman: I have molested at least 10 boys
KUALA LUMPUR: A former press photographer made a shocking confession that he had molested at least 10 boys between last year and July this year. The boys, aged nine to 14, were all from a children’s welfare home in Jalan Kelang Lama where he had worked as a volunteer.
The 53-year-old man turned himself in to the police yesterday as he had regretted his actions and wanted to help the sexually-abused children, a source quoted the ex-photographer as telling interrogators. Following his shocking disclosure, policemen from the city’s special victims department visited the welfare home and interviewed nine boys. Three of them admitted to being sexually abused.
The cops also questioned several staff members of the home, which was believed to be unlicenced, on allegations of sexually exploiting and abusing the boys. City CID chief SAC Datuk Ku Chin Wa confirmed the arrest and said the man was released on bail after being questioned. A week ago, Brian Goh Kah Heng, 19, died in a centre for disabled after he was allegedly abused by a caretaker. Goh had cerebral palsy and autism.
