Ex-asst manager of Seagate Tech charged with corruption

A FORMER assistant manager of Seagate Technology International was charged in a district court on Friday with corruption involving $157,508.
Ho Sze Khee, 41, is accused of three counts of accepting bribes of $24,650, $35,700 and $97,158 from Ang Seng Thor, former chief executive officer of listed AEM-Evertech Holdings, to advance the business interests of AEM-Evertech, a precision tools company.
The alleged offences occurred between October 2004 and March 2005.
Bail of $100,000 was offered. His passport was impounded.
If convicted, he faces a fine of up to $100,000 and/or a jail term of up to five years on each charge.
