LTA, NETS say about 2,900 CashCards caused ERP payment glitches
31 October 2008
SINGAPORE: The Land Transport Authority (LTA) and NETS say the incompatibility of about 2,900 NETS CashCards with In-vehicle Units (IUs) had caused some motorists to have payment problems at the Electronic Road Pricing gantries.
Since the payment problems surfaced in May 2008, motorists could bring their cards and IUs to authorised centres for testing.
The cards have since been replaced with new generation NETS CashCards.
Figures from the LTA’s authorised inspection centres also show the number of motorists turning up at the centres to have their NETS CashCards and IUs tested has resumed to normal levels.
