Ms Kartini, have u ever thought that the reason the cops and even the MP came to act was because YOU complained. I am a resident of Aljunied GRC and my constituency comes under Mr Zainul. Recently, I raised to cops that people in a nearby private housing estate were placing items on public road so as to reserve carpark space. Guess what cops never came and the elite class still placing items blatantly on road. Call cops, cops even asked me why must I be concerned about this??
I also raised issue of mosquito breeding at the worksite area of the Lift Upgrading Project at my block. Many puddles at the worksite area. NEA came but instead of checking worksite, checked my house and got ticked off for not putting caps on the rattan pole outlet. Guess what I placed the caps but still got mosquito in the room facing the worksite. Now I use mosquito coils
Well, Ms Kartini, surely by now, u mus realize membership has its priviliges but in the meantime we ordinary people will have to take care of ourselves.
All I can hope is, when I wake up on 8th May, I can hear WP's A-Team thanking us Aljunied residents for giving them the chance to be the PEOPLE's voice in Parliament...</TD></TR><TR><TD></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>
