We actually threw a national party for the Ghosts' Festival on its Eve.

Nothing seems to be right for Singapore. First it the Merlion was struck by thunder bolt. Second, the thunder bolt is synonymous with you know what. Third, for the first time in 50 years Singapore was covered by flood waters.

And now, our Birthday coincides with Ghosts' Festival.

And this going to be our Election Year ?
