SINGAPORE : Nominated Member of Parliament (NMP) Eunice Olsen said she will not be apply for a third term as NMP in Singapore's Parliament.
In an email reply to Channel NewsAsia, Ms Olsen said she has had a fulfilling two terms, and the privilege of being able to raise and learn more about issues close to the hearts of Singaporeans.
Even though her term as NMP is over with the proroguing of Parliament on Monday, Ms Olsen said she will continue to serve the community through the platform she has in the media industry and through the other committees she is involved in.
Parliament has called for names of possible candidates for selection as NMPs for a new term. The closing date for submission is May 11. - CNA /ls
