End of the world in different religions

Different religions have different beliefs about how the world will end, including the destruction of the world, a day of judgment, or a cycle of rebirth.

Destruction of the world

• Zoroastrianism
  The world will be consumed by fire, followed by punishment and forgiveness for sinners
  
  
• Aztec mythology
  The world will end with earthquakes, eternal darkness, and people going crazy

Day of judgment

• Islam: The world will end with the "Qayamat" or "Qiyamah", the Day of Judgment
  
  
• Rastafarianism: The late Ethiopian Emperor Haile Selassie will return to bring home those taken from Africa through the slave trade

Cycle of rebirth

• Hinduism
  The world will end with the descent of Kalki, the final incarnation of Vishnu, who will bring an end to the Kali Yuga
• Buddhism
  The Buddha predicted his teachings would be forgotten after 5,000 years, followed by turmoil

Other beliefs

• Christianity
  The world will end with the Apocalypse, a time of widespread calamity and war, followed by the return of Jesus Christ
• Judaism
  The world will end with the resurrection of the dead and the gathering of Jewish exiles in Israel
• Mormonism
  Jesus Christ will return to earth in Missouri, and believers will be assigned to one of three heavenly kingdoms

actually sometimes i think all these end of world talk is bullshit and scam talk injecting fear so that religions can attract followers and get more money
