Elderly female motorcyclist arrested for loansharking

A 61-year-old woman was arrested on Sunday for suspected involvement in loansharking activities.
On Sunday afternoon at about 1.20pm, a resident living in Clement Avenue 2 alerted the police to loanshark harassment graffitti outside his flat.
He had also noticed a woman behaving suspciously in the vicinity. However, the suspect had already left when officers arrived.
Detectives continued investigations, and managed to track the suspect to Guillemard Road about 3 hours later.
The woman, who apparently travelled around the island on a motorcycle, was placed under arrest after a search unveiled loansharking-related paraphernalia such as marker pens, a bicycle lock and debtors? records in her motorcycle?s box.
